Hi there - I’m an independent bilingual radio producer and reporter, telling stories in English, Spanish and everything in between. I trained at Transom and am currently a Fellow with NPR’s Latino USA.
In another lifetime, I worked in storytelling and interviewing of a different sort: I conducted intake interviews with kids in immigration detention, traveled to 20 U.S. cities collecting oral histories, and wrote grants for a homeless shelter. Along the way, I developed an ear for narrative, a relentless curiosity, and knack for intense and engaged listening, which eventually brought me to radio.
I graduated from Amherst College in 2008. I grew up in Miami, FL, and was born in Lima, Peru.
